Scary number, and very glad you caught it in time. I believe their liver will usually kick in, counterregulatory process, but you cannot guarantee it. So much worry and fear; we need a safer insulin.

ReplyDeleteScary number, indeed! So glad you caught it and were able to treat him. I know when my DD has had bad lows in the past she I am worn out the whole next day, but she bounces back just fine- I think it's an adrenaline thing. ::hugs::
