Our OmniPod arrived yesterday!!!
Can I just say how super excited and nervous we are to start this most awaited chapter in our diabetes journey. I don't know what the future holds with it and how Our Sugar Babie will do in accepting this new piece of LIFE but Mommy and Daddy are so super pumped to be pumping...well not yet...but soon, very soon. Let the training begin...we are so ready!
Sugar Babie we hope that when you look back on this post you will realize that on this day life changed in a way that no one can or could imagine. We know that it has to be hard getting poked and injected everyday when all you want to do is be a toddler to run and play. We hope this makes all that happen and more babie! We have to keep looking forward but sometimes we can't help but look backward to where we have been but we can't dwell in the happenings of the past for too long but live in the present for that is what each day is with you...A GIFT!
So, welcome OmniPod I hope you settle in well as a member of our family...I think we LOVE you already.
That is fantastic news! It is a new way of doing diabetes for sure...I would not trade pumping for anything.
ReplyDeleteWe've been eyeing the Omnipod but aren't sure our 3 yr old has enough real estate on his butt. Looking forward to hearing how it goes! We were lucky enough to come out of the hospital on a pump, and I'm in awe of parents with wee ones who can manage MDI.
